New Etsy Items
Since Halloween I've been working on the house that we're building and haven't had alot of extra time. I did however manage to finish one last halloween piece and list four items in my Etsy shop. I don't want to move them, so they are priced to sell!

Ouija Board
Now that the opening for my Lunar Boy Gallery show is wrapped up I'm moving on to finishing some Halloween props for my party. This is a ouija board and planchette I worked on this week. I also started a new blog to showcase some seriously cool artists. You can check it out at www.adarkwhimsey.com. Look for something new and interesting daily.

Twig 2
I'm working on a series to send off to artful home and this is the last of four. Hopefully they'll like them.
Just for fun
My fabulous friend Ross helped me (I use the word helped loosely, since he did 99% of the work) cast some skulls from an old plastic skull (I wanted to use my own, but I couldn't get it out). Now I'm just having fun with them. Here's my first piece...
The Bat Man
I'm just about finished making figures for my October show. This is the last large one. Now it's on to something smaller...

Kids' book
Well I finally finished my children's book and now begins the arduous process of submission and rejection until, hopefully, someone recognizes my genius...

Crow's gift
Yet another piece for the October show. I probably need to step it up now that it's September. Yikes! Did we have a summer?

Nest
This is piece I just finished as a gift. I was wondering when I would finally use the small feather wreath. Now I'm down to just one...

drawings
I've been doing alot of different things lately and figured it was time I got around to posting some of it. Both of these are mixed media, digital works using pencils and Corel Painter and Photoshop. I've also added a couple of pieces to my etsy shop ( www.forgottenobjects.etsy.com) and in response to an earliers comment/question, I have pieces for sale at Two Vaults gallery in Tacoma and Lunar Boy Gallery in Astoria and hope to get more things up in my Etsy Shop as well.

Halloween
I'm getting an early start on Halloween with a little bit of illustration. Let me know what you think....
brown rabbit
Here's a random piece I'm working on with no destination in mind. I've been told I should apply to ArtfulHome.com, so I need four or so pieces that aren't already on their way somewhere. I had fun making the little necklace and it helps my use up the amazing amount of stuff I have squirreled away.
I also want to thank everyone who has commented on my work!

wraith
So now that I'm finished doing pieces for my show at two vaults I'm on to my October show at Lunar Boy Gallery in Astoria. I'm also recovering from achilles tendon surgery, which makes it hard to stand for very long, but I'm still managing to get some stuff done.

New stuff
Okay, so it's been awhile. I've been busy injuring my achilles tendon and I'm waiting now to see if I need surgery. In the interim I finished up three more pieces for my two vaults show on June 18th. I also started some illustrations for a kids book, but I'll post those later. I don't want to overwhelm anyone...

More work for the June show
That's right. My May show is now in June, which I guess makes it my June show now. Anyhow, it gives me more time to make more stuff. Here are a couple of more that I've been working on. The bodies are made of 2x4s or 4x4s, which, if I had any sense, I would have picked up from the scrap pile at the house we are building (or having built, to be exact) instead of at Home Depot. Of course, now that the framing is done, there are no more scraps, so it's back to the warehouse store.

Verde
If you like your hot sauce green, this one's for you. Another piece done for my May show! Alot of the pieces used were originally intended as polymer clay jewelry but never made it quite that far.

More pieces for the May show
The last piece I posted is now finished and I've added a new one. Look for more towards the end of the week. I'm making all of the bodies for these out of a 2x8 and then shaping them with a bandsaw and an angle grinder with a seriously abrasive sanding disc. It's amazing what a difference a new blade makes. Especially since the old one was broken.

Queen of hearts
This is another piece for my May show at Two Vaults in Tacoma. This doesn't really fit into the theme I had in mind so I'll have to let it gestate for awhile and figure out what the new theme is.

Indigo
This is the first in a series of pieces for a show at Two Vaults in Tacoma this May. I'm hoping to take a little time off from the wonderful world of web design and devote a little bit more to art, although the web design does pay the bills.

Little Monster
Here's a polymer clay pin I created that's for sale in my etsy shop. I'll be adding more as the week goes on so keep checking back...
new site design
I just finished updating the look of my website so swing on over and have a look at www.forgottenobjects.com. Let me know what you think.

Do you want to see my drawing...
This is part of a series that I'm working on. It's the only one so far, but I swear it's going to be a series. Really...
earrings
Okay, so I'm back briefly from the land of the dead (paying work) with some bronze clay earrings. I'll be putting these on Etsy at fabulous prices since they're some of my first. Bronze clay is challenging to work with but given infinite time I'll probably eventually get the hang of it.

New masks
I'm finally back with a couple of new pieces (one was a christmas gift, so I couldn't post it til after the holidays). I'm still figuring out where I'm going with the masks. Regardless, they're really fun to make.
